window of an old house
.

condominium (quite an old one) at Rua da Passagem
.

TACO shirts at Botafogo Praia Shopping.
Its somethine like Singapore/HK’s Gionardo.
.

Tiny little statue of Jesus Redeemer just outside Botafogo Praia Shopping.
The Rio inhibitants see the statue everyday; no wonder most of them never go up the status.
.

nice house.
I don’t think this is antique though
.

Now, this building is antique. The stone slabs around the door & windows tell it all.
This is the design even before the Imperial days, around 200 years ago.
.

View from Botafogo Praia Shopping of Pao de Açucar (Sugar Loaf), one of the main tourist attraction at Rio. It is where you pay R$48 to ride cable car to 310m height little hill. The ticket is overpriced, but the sunset is superb. If you don’t believe me, go ahead, go there before sunset; give me a cerveja treat if you agree…. otherwise, the beer’s on me! 🙂
.
tips : go to 8th floor of Botafogo Praia shopping. There’s a balcony which you can see above view. Dun worry, Its free & safe coz its an uptown shopping center.

Condominium.
Nice brick walls.
.

Another old house.
Whitish, quite uncommon. Most houses here are colored (some bright, others plain, but rarely white)
.

Poesias são bem vindas nos muros de Giz = poems are welcomed on the walls of Giz
.

6am. This morning.
.

Botafogo on a perfect day..
.
p/s : All these photos are taken within 0.5km of Botafogo Metro station.

Taxi driver told me just now that weather will be bad for until this weekend. Keep on raining everyday. So do check out weather forecast before coming. Its not all sunny during spring, okie!?
