Panoramic Photos – Penang June 2010

Posted on 5 December 2010

Penang is one nice place to be. The main attractions are:
1. pre-war buildings (which are in the UNESCO World Heritage Site)
2. nice food (pandan coconut?, laksa, hokkien mee, etc).
3. beach, jungle, hills, orchards, shopping malls, that are within that one island

Of course there are other super popular attractions such as the Kek Lok Si temple, Penang Hill (and those that you’ll find in all tourist guides) but I think the best way to enjoy this place is to rent a motorbike and drive around. Getting lost in the island can bring about interesting adventures – I was trying to get back to my hotel, when I got lost and stumbled into Pasar Malam (night market) that covered a few streets!
